Jaime Fuller of The Washington Post reports that not only is my new hometown of Las Vegas on the shortlist for the 2016 Republican National Convention, but they are the frontrunners.
It makes sense. Las Vegas is convention central. This is what we do. Here is our pitch:
Cleveland? Columbus? Dallas? Yeah, no.
Of course, Las Vegas might be too edgy for the GOP. However, Nevada is one of the states that they will need to win if they are ever going to pull off an Electoral College anytime soon. Granted, this also applies to Denver and the various Ohio cities that are in the running.
