I discovered the 1988 Pixies song “Where Is My Mind” while an undergraduate at the University of Utah. That would have been about the same time as this 1999 live performance.
I have yet to find my mind. Let me know if you know where it is.

Probably the best live performance I’ve ever seen by them.
Gotta say that it was around the same time for me, but I was a sophomore in high school in rural-ish Louisiana. Pretty sure this song was made popular because it was on the Fight Club soundtrack – ergo multiple reasons to love that movie.
